How We Can Help You
If you are a farmer, rancher, private landowner, or community partner with soil and water conservation needs, we are here to serve you. We are a public service that is a subdivision of the state of Idaho, we work directly with the Idaho Soil and Water Conservation Commission (ISWCC) and the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) locally to provide technical, financial, and educational assistance to Benewah County. We specialize in coordinating and channeling the correct expertise for your property needs. We do this through our extensive partnerships at all levels of government.
Our programs provide:
-
Non-regulatory assistance
-
Science-based technical assistance
-
Incentive-based financial programs
-
Information and educational resources
Traditionally our conservation partners have been primarily farm and ranch operators. Today our customer base is expanding. We are developing new partnerships with individuals and organizations interested in promoting the use of natural resource planning and education.
The Benewah Soil & Water Conservation District Board Meeting is held the second Tuesday of each month except in August and November, in the USDA Service Center conference room at 900 E Street Plummer, ID 83851.
